I got an HDHomeRun and a big antenna this week. I'm now able to watch digital HD television channels on any computer in my house (which is to say, three machines). I'm now working on getting a fourth: a machine dedicated to running MythTV. This HTPC will serve as the media hub for my living room: watching and recording TV and ripped DVDs, playing music, and more.

But, trying to spec parts for machines is not as glamorous as it used to be. Maybe I'm just getting old…
